New Year, New Shop, New Adventures

The year 2017 is at it's close, and what an eventful year it was! We here at Dissident Customs are hitting the ground running as we set out to make 2018 our most explosive and momentous year yet.

A short recap of 2017, just in case you missed out. At the beginning of last year, Chris was operating pretty much on his own while I was in Texas, and Jason being in various other parts of the country. Chance's journey started with a personal custom build of his own where he eventually became a member of the Dissident's.

Over the course of the year, DCM would be in two different locations. First, just outside of town on Highway 52 and then in the late spring it was moved to Second Street in downtown Cheraw where we've been since. But, we're not stopping there.

Ushering in the new year, we are currently moving to a new place. It's not far from the current shop, I mean if you can throw from center field to home plate you just might hit us from the old building.

A fantastic opportunity has been afforded us in the new location. A clean, no holds barred slate, to make the shop how we want it to be. At this moment it is completely gutted, and full force renovation is taking place. We hope to be operational during the first half of February.

With this new design, we will have a full function maintenance and repair facility on the front-end where we will continue to specialize in American V-twin's. As we continue to grow so will the custom and fabrication element with its separate working space.

Now don't think we'll be stopping there. As soon as we're rolling, the riding season will be upon us once again, and with that brings the rallies.

This spring we will be rolling out a new line of Dissident swag as well as a few builds of our own, all of which we intend to have on display in some shape or form at the likes of Daytona, Myrtle, The Smokeout, and Maggie Valley.

As for now, it's been snowing so I don't intend to see anyone on the road. But, if you must, keep it on two wheels!
